This exit tends to happen.

Well, at least Arsenal TV will be interesting. The Gunners have exited the Champions League at an all too familiar stage, but the manner of this defeat was certainly different when compared to previous seasons. In his pre-match programme notes, Arsene Wenger called on his players to play for pride. It didn't happen. Christ, it didn't happen. Let's be honest, the result in Germany meant that the tie was finished before a ball was even kicked at the Emirates, but goals from Lewandowski, Robben, Costa and a brace from Vidal emphatically cancelled out Theo Walcott's opener. Bayern were good, Arsenal were abject. These things tend to happen. https://twitter.com/bateson87/status/839225100473876480 And then it happened. Gallows humour at its best. https://twitter.com/BeardedGenius/status/839226460531470339 https://twitter.com/mowingmeadows/status/839226249792794624 https://twitter.com/NOT_MOTD/status/839226807652081665 https://twitter.com/Oldfirmfacts1/status/839226533722091521 https://twitter.com/munashechinyani/status/839227330283319296 https://twitter.com/WelhamOfficial/status/839226984429457412 https://twitter.com/MartinCloake/status/839228867990679552 Even Bayern Munich got in on the act. https://twitter.com/FCBayernEN/status/839226422694662144
