VIDEO: Everton join ‘Boro fans by lighting up Riverside in moving show of support for commentator

Over 5,000 away supporters turned out to support Everton in their quarter final at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough fans that attended the recent game against Huddersfield could be heard chanting the name of Brownlee, who has recently been diagnosed with bowel cancer. Having put on a similar display at Old Trafford in support of steel workers recently, Boro fans lit up the stadium with their mobile phones in the 33rd minute.
