Everton have sacked Frank Lampard has been sacked, the club have confirmed. Lampard was relieved of his duties on Monday after his side's 2-0 defeat away to relegation rivals West Ham United to leave the Toffees 19th in the Premier League. The former Chelsea boss was appointed as manager of the Merseyside club in January 2022, replacing Rafael Benitez, with the club also in a relegation battle at the time. Under his guidance Everton narrowly avoided relegation, beating Crystal Palace 3-2 at Goodison Park to secure survival with a game to spare and finish 16th.
