Steven Gerrard has hit the big time. Whatever he has done in his Liverpool career to date, we're sure it hasn't topped taking plaudits from the main man himself.
That's right, Andrea Pirlo has joined the long list of men lining up to pay tribute to the Anfield legend.
Pirlo and Gerrard went head-to-head in that Champions League final of 2005 and, whilst it was the English man reigning supreme that night in Istanbul, they have had other battles since - the last coming in the World Cup in Brazil just last year.
Andrea Pirlo is 36 this week and, although he is still doing it at the very top with Juventus, he recognises what Gerrard has brought to football and he posted this picture of the pair in battle all of eight years ago. When AC Milan came out on top, of course.
We'll forgive Andrea for being so tactical.
You've finally made it, Gerrard.
