However, unfortunately for the Haaland family, that is yet to happen. The Manchester City forward does have other siblings who play football such as his cousin, Albert Tjåland.
A video circulating on Twitter has claimed that the younger Haaland is a lean, mean, scoring machine, but there is one fault: the player in the video is not him.
In fairness, the goal is one that anyone would be proud of claiming as one of their own. A neat, swinging ball into the box is met with a perfectly executed scissor kick volley. The stuff of dreams but again, as mentioned earlier, it's not him.

The goal was actually scored by Preston North End's Brad Potts, who while I'm sure is flattered to be put in the same bracket as the Haaland family, should be the one taking the credit for an incredible strike.
Social media however has fabricated the idea that Albert in fact shares the last name and also has an impressive goal tally. One tweet claimed that Tjåland - or in this case, Haaland - had scored 64 goals in 37 games for Norwegian side Brann at the age of 18.
That is simply not true.
Albert does play football, but for the Molde reserve side, where he has barely featured this campaign. Haaland actually only has one career goal to his name. Not quite the level of his cousin just yet.
If this simple mistake has proved one thing, it's that the internet will really believe anything.
