An English Football League stadium is set to host Europa Conference League football next campaign.
With Crystal Palace set to face off against Spanish underdogs Rayo Vallecano in the final in Leipzig on 27 May, a win would take Oliver Glasner's Eagles to the Europa League the following season.
Despite winning the FA Cup, Community Shield, and potentially the Conference League too, Glasner is set to depart South London come the end of the season.
Thankfully for Palace though, Andoni Iraola is reportedly interested in being the Palace legend's successor, with leaving Bournemouth himself upon the expiry of his contract.
The Cherries are currently 6th and enjoying a stellar season. Though if they finish 7th, they may be competing in the Europa Conference next campaign.
And if doing so, they may be drawn to play at the Cardiff City Stadium - should a Welsh side qualify for the tournament.
Welsh Premier League side Penybont have qualified for the tournament after securing a 2-0 win over Haverfordwest County in the Cymru Premier Play-off final.
Chris Venables and Mael Davies bagged the goals at the club’s DragonBet Stadium, securing a place in the qualifying round for the third time in four seasons.
Their reward for winning the play-off final is playing at the 33,000 seated Cardiff City Stadium.
Cardiff themselves have returned to the second-tier after promotion from League 1. The Bluebirds also boasted a successful cup run, defeating Premier League Burnley, before losing narrowly at home to 'Big 6' Chelsea 3-1 in the quarterfinal at a packed arena.
