We don't think he's going to get a hero's welcome at the airport but Nani looks set to return to Old Trafford.
The Portuguese winger is on loan at Sporting Lisbon but reports in Portugal claim that his new club cannot afford to pay his €5 million salary next season. And that could means the 28-year-old could be back in the United fold if no other clubs come in for him. Nani was seen as something of a flop in his latter years at Old Trafford after scoring just four times in 34 appearances between 2012 and 2014. But perhaps he's turned a corner because he's been in flying form in the Primera Liga, having found the net 11 times in his 30 Sporting appearances, including with this absolute screamer a month ago.Explore more on these topics:
