Divock Origi the latest victim of the Anfield hamstring curse

It's no laughing matter.

Jurgen Klopp had them rolling in the Twitter aisles after the 1-0 win over Leicester when he revealed Divock Origi suffered a hamstring injury in the first half. The speedy Belgian striker was selected ahead of Christian Benteke, who came off the bench to the score the winner (and also crucify a last-gasp five-on-one in the most brutal fashion). https://twitter.com/TonyBarretTimes/status/680805363386576896 The German wasn't joking. Origi brings to TEN the number of hamstring injuries suffered by Liverpool players since Klopp took over at Anfield in early October. Even allowing for one of those being glassman Daniel Sturridge, that is a phenomenal number and asks questions of Klopp's training methods. Renowned as a demanding coach, has the squad's failure to put down a pre-season of Klopp intensity left them open to soft-tissue injuries under the new regime. Since Klopp took over Jordan Rossiter (twice), Kolo Toure, Jose Enrique, James Milner, Philippe Coutinho, Sturridge, Simon Mignolet, Martin Skrtel and now Origi have been sidelined with hamstring injuries. In comparison, since October, Saturday's hard-running opponents, Leicester City, have suffered three hamstring injuries.
