In the past few weeks, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Andrea Pirlo have touched down stateside, to join already bona fide football royalty in the form of Kaka and David Villa.

The Ivory Coast striker will sign an 18 month deal with the Canadian franchise, who are currently sixth in the Western Conference standings, worth a reported £3 million a year.
Drogba spent nine years at Chelsea, across two spells, scoring 164 goals in 381 games and winning four Premier Leagues, four FA Cups and three League Cups.
The 37 year old also scored the equaliser and winning penalty in the Champions League final in 2012.
"It’s an honour to welcome Didier Drogba to the Impact," Montreal president Joey Saputo told the franchise's official website.
"From the first conversation I had with him, I felt that he really wanted to play in Montreal. This is one of the biggest days in club history and his arrival to the club will be beneficial in every aspect."
The deal for Drogba was somewhat complicated, as it also involves Chicago Fire.
The franchise had filed a discovery claim for Drogba, but Montreal have acquired his rights for an undisclosed fee.
