There is a widespread belief that, at 26 years old, Ireland and Liverpool keeper Caoimhin Kelleher must make a move away from the Reds sooner rather than later.
The Cork man has improved his stock this season, stepping in impressively on several occasions for the injured Allison.
However, if he is to reach his potential, he cannot continue to rely on the Brazilian's injury troubles, or a handful of League Cup appearances for gametime.
Offers will be coming in for the stopper this summer, and it will be up to him to seize the opportunity.
He has been linked in the past with Chelsea, Newcastle, and most recently, Bournemouth.
However, former Liverpool player and current RTÉ pundit, Didi Hamann, reckons Man United should go in for the keeper, with their current No 1 Andre Onana struggling.
Speaking with SpacesportSweden, Hamann said:
"If you look at Manchester United and Chelsea, there are teams bigger in stature than Bournemouth that would be improved by having Caoimhin Kelleher.
"Bournemouth have had a brilliant season, but I think Kelleher is one of the best five goalkeepers in the Premier League and that’s why there has been number one talk at Liverpool.
"There will be a long list of takers for Kelleher both here and abroad, I think he has a big decision to make because it’s time for Liverpool to let him go after he has been such a brilliant servant for the club."
