The after-effects of the chartered plane crash in Colombia, which claimed the lives of 71 people, are still being felt. Crew members and sports journalists also perished in the Tuesday morning crash.
Football has been doing its best to move on while paying its respects at the same time.
Already we have seen touching tributes at Anfield, Old Trafford and at football games the world over. Arsenal defender Gabriel spoke about the tragedy soon after his side's EFL Cup exit to Southampton and he could not hold back the tears. Nor should he have tried.
On Saturday, during Chelsea's 3-1 Premier League win over Manchester City, David Luiz joined Brazilian compatriot Willian to pay their respects to all involved in the crash.
Put through clean on goal, Willian finished past Claudio Bravo and rushed to the sideline. He was joined by Luiz and both men removed their black armbands before holding them aloft with a message of support for the families and friends that lost loved ones.

Luiz was left in a bundle in injury time after a high tackle from Sergio Aguero that copped him a red card.
Chelsea were 1-0 behind but goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard saw off a spirited City side.
