David De Gea can sidestep a probing question like the best of them.

The Manchester United stopper is rumoured to have a €41million release clause in his newly signed contract. The release clause would mean that he'd be guaranteed his long-discussed move to Real Madrid once the La Liga side were able to match the asking price. One reporter tried to get the Spaniard to confirm the clause after Spain's 1-0 victory in Ukraine on Sunday night and he was met with a masterclass in deflection as De Gea refused to deny that he insisted on the release conditions. Spain v Luxembourg - UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifier "You should ask Jorge [Mendes] that question," De Gea answered. "He is the one who pays attention to those sort of details." The fact that De Gea wouldn't answer the question with a definitive yes/no would suggest that there is in fact a release clause in the deal which won't come as music to the ears of United fans.
