David Beckham probably never thought he'd find himself making his own footballs before a match.

The retired soccer star, who has kicked off a UNICEF tour starting in Papua New Guinea, helped create footballs from banana leaves for his first game. Becks is taking part in charity matches across seven continents to raise funds and awareness for the United Nations children agency, of which he is an ambassador. https://instagram.com/p/9shgwqzWdx/ Despite playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan and LA Galaxy, and being one of the most famous faces in the world, many villagers haven't a clue who he is, so it's a good job they branded his team bus. https://instagram.com/p/9sCJsPzWZh/?taken-by=davidbeckham
