Nottingham Forest forward Daryl Murphy scored after just 90 seconds against his former club Newcastle United in their second round Carabao Cup clash on Wednesday.
Nottingham right-back Sam Byram swung in a dangerous cross towards the near post where Murphy edged out former Ireland teammate Ciaran Clark to score but he refused to celebrate in front of the visiting Newcastle fans.
Murphy spent just one season at Newcastle where he scored six goals in 18 games for the club as he helped them secure promotion back to the Premier League before leaving at the end of the 2016/17 season.
On 21 July 2017, Murphy joined Forest on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He scored seven goals in 13 games for the club last season.
