Just when you thought Darren Randolph couldn't get any more lovable...

You might remember Darren Randolph as the third choice 'keeper who was sprung against Germany, set up one of the country's most famous ever goals, kept a clean sheet against the world champions - kept his Ireland place as a result. You might remember him as the goalie who broke Liverpool hearts and guided West Ham through a tricky FA Cup encounter. But dog-lovers, charity-givers, they know him as the new face of PETA. https://twitter.com/PETAUK/status/697517994272927744 The West Ham goalkeeper has thrown his considerable muscle behind a rescue dog campaign. Posing in an ad for PETA, Randolph is helping to encourage those looking for an animal companion to find a loving, desperate pet at their local shelters. "Dogs are great fun, and they bring a lot of happiness and joy into people’s lives," Randolph said, launching the campaign. "But they are a lifelong commitment. If you’re ready for that, go down to your local shelter and check out some of the great dogs, like Tia [in the poster with him], who are desperately waiting for a home." They're in safe hands with him anyway.
