Liverpool's newest star Conor Bradley certainly did Jurgen Klopp proud with his recent performances and with his comments after their win over Fulham. Liverpool beat Fulham 3-2 on aggregate to qualify for the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea, and potentially give the young Irishman his first chance of winning major silverware as a professional footballer. Bradley has been filling in at right back with vice-captain Trent Alexander Arnold out with injury. He played the full 90 minutes in the first leg of the cup, the 4-0 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League, and last night's second leg. With three wins in his three games, it's fair to say that he is impressing.

Alongside Jarell Quansah, another graduate from the Liverpool academy who played in the victory over Fulham, The Reds are suddenly looking a lot more fresh-faced, and full of youthful exuberance, but Bradley admits that he is just delighted to get the opportunity to play. “It just builds it [confidence] so much, to play in a semi-final of a cup for Liverpool, my dream club, it’s unreal," the Tyrone native told Liverpoolfc.com.

“And for the gaffer to put trust in me to play tonight, especially me and Jarell playing besides each other as young players, the trust he has got in us is brilliant and we are just buzzing to get through.”

It wasn't just the right back's performance that grabbed everyone's attention, his comments after the game highlighted the winning mentality that the young star has as well, something which Klopp will surely appreciate.

“We want to win everything that we are in this year, so there’s four cups up for grabs and we are going to try to win them all. “But this is just in the final now, we are going to keep going in every competition and try to win them all.”

Quansah, who has been equally impressive since breaking into the first team at centre back, reveals that he and Bradley were teammates in the academy, so to play alongside each other in the senior team for the first time was a special opportunity.

That’s how everyone trains. Again, there’s a lot of competition between everyone and everyone wants to start in a final, so it’s just about taking any opportunity that comes. “There’s a lot of games before then so any game I can get, any chance I get I’m just going to try to play my best, get rhythm and get form.”
