Colin Doyle turns out for Bradford City less than 24 hours after making Ireland return

Colin Doyle waited a decade to win his second Republic of Ireland cap. But, having been kept busy enough by Turkey on Friday, he has found out there is no rest for the wicked as he will play his second game in the space of a day. Doyle starts in goal for Bradford in the League One side's clash with Gillingham, which kicks off at 3pm. The 32-year-old Cork native played the full 90 minutes for Ireland as they lost 1-0 in Antalya and travelled through the night to make it back in time for club commitments. https://twitter.com/officialbantams/status/977548443236347904 https://twitter.com/officialbantams/status/977555059373420544 Doyle was delighted to be back in the mix with Ireland, given the nod by Martin O'Neill after resting first-choice Darren Randolph, jokingly saying he hopes he won't have to wait another ten years to win another cap. "My wife texted me saying that and I saw the little article. I didn't know that until I saw it. It was funny when I saw it," Doyle said."I don't think I'll be waiting another 10 years for my next one because I'll be long retired! "I'm only 32, so for a keeper, they may say that's young. Look, I need to play. Why I wasn't involved years ago was because I was a number two at Birmingham and not playing games. "You need to be playing and the last three seasons now, I've been playing regular football in the Football League, so I have got back in the squads, which I wanted to do and luckily enough, I got a cap tonight.
