Two routes were ahead of Riyad Mahrez on his career motorway.
He could have gone down the N'Golo Kante path which refers to the Frenchman's decision to move to a supposed bigger club in Chelsea, enjoying a more lucrative contract and profile boost.
Or he could have followed Jamie Vardy down his road which involved turning down the advances of numerous suitors and declaring loyalty for the club at which he made his name.
Fortunately, for Leicester fans, Riyad Mahrez has taken the latter route as he's pledged his allegiance to the Foxes according to manager Claudio Ranieri.

Reports emerged earlier this week claiming that the Algerian international had rejected an improved deal at the King Power Stadium but Ranieri has rubbished those claims.
The Leicester boss, who made history by delivering the Premier League title to the Foxes last season, has claimed that "the market is finished," and that Mahrez would be going nowhere this summer.

With Champions League football on the horizon, Leicester could do without losing any more of their title-winning superstars so this decision, if true, will come as music to the ears of Foxes fans.
