Leicester fans could not have hoped for any better news than Claudio Ranieri’s comments on Riyad Mahrez

Two routes were ahead of Riyad Mahrez on his career motorway.

He could have gone down the N'Golo Kante path which refers to the Frenchman's decision to move to a supposed bigger club in Chelsea, enjoying a more lucrative contract and profile boost. Or he could have followed Jamie Vardy down his road which involved turning down the advances of numerous suitors and declaring loyalty for the club at which he made his name. Fortunately, for Leicester fans, Riyad Mahrez has taken the latter route as he's pledged his allegiance to the Foxes according to manager Claudio Ranieri. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/754232519747403776 Reports emerged earlier this week claiming that the Algerian international had rejected an improved deal at the King Power Stadium but Ranieri has rubbished those claims.
