The 56-year-old manager was arrested and detained alongside his son.
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Christophe Galtier has been taken into police custody in the French city of Nice due to an ongoing investigation into allegations of discrimination at the Côte d'Azur club.
The 56-year-old was first accused last April of using racist and discriminatory remarks towards his own playing staff when in charge of OGC Nice during the 2021/2022 Ligue 1 season.
Galtier's son, John-Valovic, was also detained by French authorities as part of the investigation. The pair strenuously deny the allegations levelled at them.
The allegations against Galtier came to light in April when an email sent by Nice's sporting director containing the accusations was leaked by French outlet RMC.

PSG head coach Christophe Galtier arrested amidst racism allegations.
Releasing a statement via his lawyer, the PSG manager said that he denies the allegations "with the greatest firmness" and that he intends to take legal action against those who are "damaging (his) reputation".
Galtier has already filed a legal complaint for "insulting and defamatory remarks".
The legal investigation followed the allegations, with authorities doing so on the "grounds of discrimination based on alleged race or belonging to religion".
A police search has since been carried out at the club's training ground, with members of staff and the Nice board interviewed by police.
Back in April, PSG themselves released a statement backing Galtier, saying that;
"The club supports Christophe Galtier after the numerous and unacceptable threats he has received and now wants the truth to be established by justice".
However, the former Marseille defender is now on the brink of losing his job, with the Parisian club set to announce Spaniard Luis Enrique as their new manager in the coming days.
