Chelsea’s official website are moaning about the lack of penalties they’ve gotten this season

It's not like someone at Chelsea to tout conspiracy theories.

When you're bringing up penalty statistics, it's pretty safe to say that you're in desperation mode and whoever's in charge of running the Blues' website is very much of the Jose Mourinho school of whinging. Chelsea's website have today published a piece entitled "Penalty puzzle" in which the author, a certain Jose M, questions why the Blues have received just the two penalties in the Premier League this season. There's a real sense of clutching at straws as the article features photographs of alleged "should have been given" penalty incidents from throughout this campaign.

It's almost unbelievable but we assure you that it's come from the official website and not from one of those pesky parody accounts.
