The guessing game continues.

The rumour mill has been in overdrive ever since the news broke on Sunday that a 'first-team Chelsea' player would rather lose than win such is his disdain for Jose Mourinho. Twitter and other forums have been full of speculation as to the identity of the leader of this supposed mutiny. On Monday night The Secret Footballer broke ranks and claimed Cesc Fabregas was the player behind the revolt. The former Barcelona and Arsenal midfielder has issued a strong denial that he is the player in question. "I would like to clarify that contrary to a few reports from some websites, I am extremely happy at Chelsea and have an excellent relationship with the manager," he said. "There may be certain individuals from the outside trying to destabilise this club but I strongly believe that we will bounce back and come good again." https://twitter.com/cesc4official/status/661467560907579392 https://twitter.com/cesc4official/status/661467659096203264 https://twitter.com/cesc4official/status/661467708215713792 The good news for whoever the player in question is is that reports suggest that Mourinho will be sacked this weekend, regardless of the result in their next two games.
