The call is reported to have taken place when Woodward was in Spain to sew up the deal for the 28-year-old and Semaan's words obviously worked wonders as Pedro officially signed on the dotted line this afternoon. Friendship seems to be a huge part of Pedro's decision as he was also reported to have been unnerved by Louis van Gaal's treatment of former teammate Victor Valdes.
