Report: Celtic win race to sign Norwegian wonderkid

Martin Odegaard has done wonders for promising Norwegian footballers.

The 17 year old was coveted by every top club in Europe before signing for Real Madrid in January 2015. He has since made his debut when replacing Cristiano Ronaldo as a second-half substitute towards the end of a La Liga game last season. We'd imagine European clubs didn't take long to send more scouts to the Scandinavian country in hope of unearthing the next wonderkid, and Celtic appear to have jumped the queue for Kristoffer Ajer.
