Celtic reject improved Arsenal bid for Kieran Tierney

Celtic have rejected a second bid from Arsenal for Scotland defender Kieran Tierney.
The Gunners are looking for a new left-back with Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolisinac failing to inspire over the last few seasons while Tierney has long been linked with a move away from Celtic Park after a series of outstanding seasons for the Scottish champions. The Gunners are believed to have had an initial bid of £15 million rejected, however, Football Scotland now report that they have had a second attempt of £17.5 million (which includes a possible £7.5m in performance-related payments) knocked back. The end of Tierney's season was plagued by a hip injury and manager Neil Lennon told Sky Sports recently that every player has their price."He's obviously coming back from the surgery and he's rehabbing," said Lennon. "It can be a little bit unsettling. A lot of us have been in that position before. Every player has his price. "If any team wants to match that then we have a decision to make but until then there's nothing further to say on it really."
