Footage of the frankly ridiculous incident emerged online soon after and you really have to feel for Griffiths.
He was getting pelted with objects from the stands but was urged to take his corner-kick and get on with the game. As he resumed his position by the corner, a half-full bottle of Buckfast whizzed by his ear.
He quickly moved out of harm's way and picked up the bottle to show the ref, only to get booked for holding up play.
Absolute joke.
