Celtic fans were in a very festive mood before their Europa League trip to Leipzig on Thursday with many Hoops fans taking over the streets of the German city.

Celtic currently sit third in Group B with one win from their opening two matches but they could leapfrog RB Leipzig if they win against the Bundesliga side. The Hoops fans made their presence known on the plane, at the train station and eventually on the streets as they march their way towards the Re Bull Arena. https://twitter.com/SportdecApp/status/1055458988500889601 https://twitter.com/rcxssidy9/status/1055417216538238976 https://twitter.com/talkingbaws/status/1055493224796708864 https://twitter.com/talkingbaws/status/1055495101034782720
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers said that his time have to go to Leipzig with a winning mentality and that they must bring some confidence into the game. “Naturally, over the couple of games it’s important to get results," said Rodgers. "After the last time in Salzburg – OK we lost, but I want to see a better performance.
“It’s key coming into these games that we think about performing well. When we play to that quality and players play with confidence then we have a much greater chance of getting a result.
“It’s about going and performing and taking that confidence of going to play and not being frightened to make mistakes. “We’re playing against one of the top teams in Germany, but we still have to show our way of playing and when we do that we know we can cause problems. That’s what we’re looking to do, perform well and then look at getting a result from that.”
