Britain has been battered by the fierce winds and rain of Storm Desmond.
But nowhere has been hit harder than Cumbria, which has seen towns and villages left deep in treacherous flood water.
Carlisle United's ground did not escape the flooding and aerial photos show Brunton Park under water.

Carlisle United were playing away in the FA Cup where they recorded a brilliant 5-0 away win at Welling United.
But as the players made the long trip home from the South, attentions turned to the serious flooding affecting the region.
The playing squad were so concerned with the impact of the deluge affecting Carlisle that players have asked manager Keith Curle for the chance to help out families hit by flooding.
