While the transfer market can be rather unpredictable at times, we're going to go ahead and call this one.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is not going to Hertha Berlin!
That's not for a want of trying from the Bundesliga side, who rushed to convince the centre-forward to move to the Olympiastadion Berlin once news of his release from the Red Devils arrived on Friday.
Ibrahimovic's name was the only one on United's list of released players as the club seemingly decided against re-signing the 35-year-old, who is still recovering from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he picked up in a Europa League clash with Anderlecht in April.

The possibility exists that United could re-sign their top scorer from the last season once he returns to full fitness and the player will reportedly continue his rehabilitation at Carrington, United's training base.
But there will be no shortage of keen clubs queuing up to sign the veteran, who will do nothing if not guarantee goals to any side.
And while he is understood to be the subject of interest for massively wealthy clubs in China and the United States, you can't blame those teams with less financial clout for chancing their arm.
Step forward Hertha Berlin...
The German club, who finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season, put forward their case for Ibrahimovic shortly after his release was confirmed by the Premier League.

While Hertha may not have the ability to cover the wages that Ibrahimovic was on at Old Trafford (over £350,000-per-week), one can't deny that it was a nice try.
