Bruno Fernandes expects Cristiano Ronaldo to remain at Manchester United next season, despite speculation that the Portuguese international wants to leave the club. According to recent reports, Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly held talks with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes - with a potential move to Stamford Bridge thought to be one of the topics discussed. Ronaldo is said to be growing frustrated with the Red Devils' lack of transfer activity so far this summer, with United yet to make a signing.

Fernandes backs Ronaldo to remain at Old Trafford.

However, Fernandes believe that his club and international teammate hasn't given any indication that he is thinking about leaving Old Trafford, and that he expects to see him next week for pre-season training.

"Now we’re both on vacation and nobody bothers their friends on vacation," Fernandes told Portuguese outlet Record.
