Rodgers is set to take over from Claude Puel after being granted permission to speak to the Foxes.
Brendan Rodgers is expected to take over as manager of Leicester City after Celtic granted the Northern Irishman permission to speak to the Foxes in connection with replacing Claude Puel.
Puel was sacked by Leicester on Sunday after a 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace resulted in the club's hierarchy losing patience with the Frenchman.

Currently sitting 13th in the Premier League table, Puel was undone by a combination of poor home results and a struggle to convince both fans and established players to convert from the club's counter-attacking style of football to his slower, more possession-based approach.
It is expected that Rodgers will take his backroom staff with him to the club, including Chris Davies, Kolo Toure and Glenn Driscoll likely to leave Parkhead.
Neil Lennon, former Celtic manager and previously a player with both Leicester and the Bhoys, is expected to replace Rodgers as manager of the club who currently sit eight points ahead of bitter rivals Rangers in the SPFL table.
Rodgers will take over a squad which, while struggling currently, has a strong and impressive group of young players.
Alongside James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, Demarai Gray and Ben Chilwell, the club's on-loan midfielder Youri Tielemans has impressed since joining AS Monaco in January.
