He took issue with Rio Ferdinand’s punditry as well…
Manchester United defender Brandon Williams hit out at Manchester City after their treble-securing Champions League final win.
Rodri’s second half strike ensured Pep Guardiola’s side won the final 1-0, claiming the Champions League crown for the first time in their history, and leaving Inter to rue missed opportunities in the latter stages of the game.
In the process they also became the first English side since Manchester United in 1999 to complete the treble of the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
After the final whistle, United defender Williams felt the need to remind City fans who were the first team to win the treble, 24 years ago.
On his Instagram story, the 22-year-old wrote: “Nobody wants a sloppy seconds.”

Brandon Williams not happy with 'two-faced' Rio Ferdinand
He then went on to call out BT Sport pundit Rio Ferdinand a “fake” for praising Man City for their win.
Williams wrote: 'Rio Ferdinand, bet you don’t congratulate if you was player. Keep the same morals. Two faced [sic] is boring.'
He continued: “You don’t praise simple as. Fakessssssssss for [money emoji].”

'This team will go down in history' - Rio Ferdinand
The former Red Devils centre back has said City’s players were now “immortal” for winning the treble and labelled them a “fantastic team”.
Speaking on BT Sport, Ferdinand said: "Immortal. Statues galore. They’ve earned it. Listen, this team have played a brand of football that is looked at around the world and is admired.
“This has been a project and a process for many years now with Pep Guardiola coming in, but these players have produced some football that has been out of this world individually, but as a collective this team will go down in history.
“They deserve to. A fantastic team. They’ve dug deep when they’ve needed to and they’ve been able to play both sides of the game. That’s been the difference between this Manchester City team to past ones.
“They can pass, they can play the fairytale football, but when need be they can dig in, roll their sleeves up and fight through games as well. Balance is everything in this team.”
