Bohemians will take on Shamrock Rovers on Sunday, 16 February 2025, marking the opening weekend of the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division season.
It is always a big occasion when these two teams face each other, but this one will be extra special as it will take place at the Aviva Stadium.
The historic Dublin Derby coincides with the 110th anniversary of the first meeting between the two clubs.
In a landmark decision, Bohemians have relinquished home advantage from Dalymount Park to host the match at the Lansdowne Road venue. This will bring the League of Ireland clash to a larger audience.
It will also be the first time the League of Ireland schedules a regular season game at the Aviva Stadium, highlighting the collaboration between the two clubs to create a memorable occasion.
Kick-off is scheduled for 2 pm, and the event will showcase one of Ireland’s most iconic football rivalries. You can follow the game live in our blog below, just click on the key point you want to read about or keep scrolling for updates.
