Bastian Schweinsteiger reveals his one major difficulty with Wayne Rooney

Thankfully we have voices made of golden silk so we never have any bother with people understanding us when utter nonsense comes out of our mouths.

But unfortunately that's not the case  for poor Wayne Rooney and his new German team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger. The midfielder has been a calming presence in the Manchester United side so far this season, but it seems that he has one key difficulty with the England captain at present; his thick Merseyside accent. The former Bayern Munich man has revealed that he has no idea what the striker is saying half the time because of his incredibly think Scouse brogue, which you'd imagine is a problem when trying to communicate with someone on a football field Speaking at today's press conference ahead of tomorrow's Champions League clash with Wolfsburg, the World Cup winner revealed his difficulties,

“I never speak about what happens in the dressing room. But I don’t understand him always when he speaks in his Scouse accent!”

We think we heard something similar about Jamie Carragher from some of the foreign players who came to Liverpool over the years too, so maybe the German might want to put in a call to Didi Hamann for some help.
