Waterford United's game against Athlone Town has been postponed.
The first division fixture was due to be played at the RSC in Waterford on Friday evening, but was called off after Athlone's players made themselves unavailable for the game, as they have not been paid wages, refusing to board the team bus.

SSE Airtricity League director Fran Gavin strongly condemned the club for their failure to fulfil the fixture, saying: "We take this matter extremely seriously and will be charging Athlone for failing to fulfil the fixture and for bringing the game into disrepute."
"This is totally unacceptable. To be notified on the afternoon of an SSE Airtricity League fixture that a club cannot field a team is simply not good enough. We will be meeting with Athlone Town over the weekend to discuss this serious matter."
