Aston Villa have cancelled their player of the year award.

They're rock bottom, they're stinking the place up, you know yourself. This campaign has been dire, they're headed straight for the Championship this weekend, and there's a poisonous atmosphere consuming Villa Park. The club can't even write anything on their Twitter account anymore without getting bombarded by disgruntled supporters. We took a look at the social media accounts of Premier League clubs during a random midweek and, naturally, Villa's was the most hilarious. So you can imagine how that lot would've reacted to the club's announcement of a player of the year award in this year of all years. Of these players of all players.
