Arsenal fans won't appreciate this.

Islington Council may have just jinxed the Premier League leaders by revealing the date of their open-top bus parade should they win the league. The league has reached the half-way stage, and although Arsenal are top of the table, they have experienced early-spring slumps in the past and saw title challenges derailed. Islington Council took the bait from one eager Twitter user, presumably an Arsenal fan, who asked when the parade will take place should the Gunners win the title.tweet "If Arsenal are to win the Premier League the parade will take place on Sunday 22nd May 2016," the tweet read. However, it was soon deleted and the council backtracked on their earlier statement, saying no date has been set. "Apologies for the error, there is no information about parade dates at this moment in time."
