Sadly, there's no room in the top 10 for James McClean's taunting of the Sunderland fans following West Brom's 1-0 win at the Hawthorns in January, a moment which got a lot of people in a tizzy on Twitter. But obviously not enough people in enough of a tizzy.
Nor was there any place for Seamus Coleman's astonishing last minute miss for Everton against Swansea in January which must have left people too dumbfounded to tweet. Imagine that.
Sanchez's goal wasn't the only from that day to make the top five, as there were 41,000 tweets per minute when Mesut Ozil gave Arsenal a 2-0 lead in that same match.
The Arsenal pairs' goals were among four to be scored against Louis van Gaal's men to appear on the list, with Christian Benteke's acrobatic consolation during Liverpool's 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford in September coming in at fifth while Jamie Vardy's record-breaking strike against the Red Devils in November only managed 32,700 tweets per minute - good for eighth place.
Olivier Giroud's finish against Manchester City was only good enough for seventh spot, but it wasn't all joy for Arsenal in the top five, as Gabriel Paulista's sending off after clashing with Chelsea's Diego Costa generated 38,000 tweets per minute, placing it fourth on the list.
Fernandinho's goal to resign Chelsea to a 3-0 defeat back in August came sixth on the list, while Robert Huth's second goal against City only made it to ninth.
United did at least have one scorer on the list, as Anthony Martial's debut goal against Liverpool snook its way onto the list at tenth.
