Another Liverpool January transfer looks on the verge of collapse

Shakhtar Donetsk forward Teixeira has already spoken about his desire to leave the Ukrainian side, and the club have told Liverpool they will need to stump up more cash if he is going anywhere this month. Liverpool have already had two bids rejected, the latest believed to be around £28million, which was only snubbed this week. The club are desperate for some much needed attacking verve, but according to reports this evening, the deal looks set to stall as the Reds are not prepared to pay almost £40million for the 26-year-old.
