He was meant to usher in the dawn of the new 'Galacticos' era, but Angel Di Maria's short time at Manchester United was far from a success.

The Argentine international is optimistic about his future at new club PSG, and explained that his relationship with Louis van Gaal made his departure from Manchester unavoidable. "I didn't have a great relationship with the coach, so I think the decision to join Paris was the best solution," Di Maria told Le Parisien. "Life in England was a bit difficult. It is not easy for a South American. Some people get on fine, and for others it is harder to adapt."
