Andrey Arshavin is back to his Arsenal best with wondergoal for Kazakh club

Andrey Arshavin might have taken a few steps back in his career of late, but he seems to be back enjoying his football at last.

The former Arsenal forward has struggled through the last three seasons in Russia, and has considered retiring from the game on at least one occasion. But he joined Kazakh team FC Kairat on an initial one-year deal and has been enjoying his best goalscoring season since 2010/11. https://twitter.com/fckairat_eng/status/711050119144185856 Arshavin is 35-years-old, but judging from his goal in the recent victory over Taraz he still has quite a bit to offer. The close control and deft finish are something Gunners fans saw plenty of in the Russian's first few months at the club, but these moments became fewer and further between as his time in London drew on.
