Andrei Kanchelskis has applied to be the next manager of Shamrock Rovers.
For those of you that did not catch too much football in the 1990s, this is what the right winger was capable of.
Rovers are on the look-out for a new, permanent manager after parting ways with Pat Fenlon earlier this season. Stephen Bradley is in the caretaker role but cannot take the main job - even were he to want it - as he is not in possession of the relevant Uefa coaching badges.
Step forward Kanchelskis.

The 47-year-old, who made is name in England with United before playing for Everton, Fiorentina, Rangers and Manchester City, has been in the managerial game for the past seven years and was, most recently, in charge of FC Solyaris Moscow.
Kanchelskis reportedly applied for the Derry City manager's job, before Kenny Shiels, but was not successful.
Perhaps he heard about how Sam Allardyce rose from managing Limerick to taking over as England boss after Euro 2016.
