The 35-year-old was named in the team of the year alongside teammats Gianluigi Buffon, Kwadwo Asamoah, Andrea Barzagli, Paul Pogba, Arturo Vidal and Carlos Tevez with Old Lady manager Antonio Conte named the year's best coach.
"It's always a pleasure to win this award, it means I manage to stay at top level year after year," our Italian hero said at the ceremony.
