Alex Ferguson praises Jurgen Klopp for classy gesture during Newcastle match

Here's further proof that it is very hard not to like Jurgen Klopp.

The charismatic German coach has made a big impact since joining Liverpool and his popularity extends past Anfield to the extent that former Manchester United manager is a fan of 48 year old. Alex Ferguson was speaking at an event in London earlier today and admitted, once again, that he is worried, from the perspective of a United fan, about the effect Klopp is having at Anfield, and praised him for a classy gesture during Liverpool's 2-0 defeat to Newcastle. "I'm worried about him because the one thing United don't want is Liverpool to get above us," the 73 year old said. "He's a fantastic personality, with those big white teeth always showing. Even at Newcastle when they lost the second goal he goes over to Steve McClaren to congratulate him". Ferguson was referring to Klopp hugging the under pressure Newcastle manager, who reportedly would've been sacked had they lost the game yesterday."That's class, that. And the work he did at Dortmund. I know him quite well from the coaching seminars. He's going to make a difference at that club with his personality, drive and knowledge. Things are looking up there." United fans are probably curious why Ferguson thought David Moyes, and not Klopp, was a better fit to succeed him back in 2013.
