Alex Bruce just heard his Hull career was over in rather blunt fashion on Twitter

It hasn’t been the greatest season for veteran Hull City defender Alex Bruce, son of former Hull manager Steve Bruce. Having failed to get into the first team after they were promoted to the Premier League, he was loaned out to Wigan Athletic, where he also didn’t feature. All that is bad enough, but something a lot more embarrassing just happened. Following their relegation, Hull have released a load of players, including Bruce.
