The Arsenal midfielder has gone toe-to-toe with some of the best players of the modern Premier League era in Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard. In Europe, he's also faced pretty formidable opposition, lining up against little known players like Lionel Messi, Arjen Robben and Toni Kroos. But none of those geniuses were considered when the Welshman was asked to name the toughest opponent he's ever faced.
"Scott Parker," Ramsey told UEFA.com. "He doesn't give you a moment's rest on the ball and is always kicking away at your ankles or tackling you. He is definitely the toughest opponent I've played against."
