Sometimes the big matches don't live up to the hype. This was not the case.
The Chiefs emerged from a severe test against the Hurricanes, in windy Wellington, to remain top of the Super Rugby standings. The 2013 and 2014 champions fell short last season but are back to their best in the current campaign. Sam Cane played a blinder for the Chiefs while Seta Tamanivalu notched two tries at The Cake Tin. Highlight of the 28-27 win was surely this sensational Toni Pulu offload that teed up Tamanivalu.
