WATCH: Simon Zebo’s sound gesture to Munster fans didn’t go exactly as planned

If at first you don't succeed.

Munster supporters will be grateful Simon Zebo saved his only mistake of the day until after his side had reached the Champions Cup semi finals. The Munster fullback was in top form as the southern province did for Toulouse, 41-16, at Thomond Park. He was electric in attack - making 101 metres off 11 carries - and he didn't miss a tackle. He also dashed in to save a certain Toulouse try in the first half. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/848265967713046528 Following the game, as the Munster players took in a lap of honour to pay thanks to the home support, Zebo was in high spirits. With CJ Stander and Tyler Bleyendaal sharing a joke and Dave Kilcoyne posing for photos, Zebo attempted to fling his adidas boots into the crowd. His first effort soared high but fell far, far short. As cheers and jeers rang out, he gave it a little more oomph and some lucky fan got his match boots. https://twitter.com/patmccarry/status/848250392152616961 Another day to remember in a season Munster will never forget.
