There is a massive change in Irish rugby coverage coming into effect soon. RTE will no longer be the home for Six Nations coverage in Ireland after the national broadcaster lost the rights to TV3.
That incredible Irish victory to deny England the Grand Slam was the last Six Nations game RTE showed before passing the torch onto their rival station.
Anyone who's ever tuned into a rugby match, or indeed, any international sports event shown on RTE will know that montages are their specialty. It will come as little surprise that they went all out for potentially their last ever Six Nations montage, showcasing some of the highlights down the years in a compilation that will pull at your heart-strings and leave your rose-tinted glasses all fogged up.
