An upside down Nathan Friend is still a better rugby player than we'll ever be.

The New Zealand Warriors hooker showed some Steve Jobs levels of innovation as he kept a surging move going yesterday. Friend found himself going arse over elbows as he latched onto a crossfield pass against the Melbourne Storm but, ever the believer, he somehow managed to summon the composure to pick out a pass to a teammate. The phase continued and four passes later, Tuimoala Lolohea crossed for a try but all the post-match discussion was on the incredible athleticism displayed by Friend in the 57th minute.
