How on Earth did security let this happen?
There was a strange sight during the Rugby World Cup clash between South Africa and Samoa on Saturday night.
A pitch invader in a Springboks jersey stormed the field and brainlessly attempted to get involved with a ruck.
He was *ahem* “dealt with” by a couple of Samoans, who may well have done a lot worse had Wayne Barnes not been on top of his game and swiftly intervened.
Barnes urged them not to be silly and waited until the fan was escorted from the field before restarting play despite the fact that time was up.
He justified playing on by saying that “This is no way to finish the game”.
